How are collaborations key to improve innovation in metabolic diseases?
Since 2013, Grit Zahn is head of research at Eternygen GmbH, Germany. She studied Biochemistry at Humboldt University Berlin and received her PhD at Charité University Hospital Berlin in the field of antibody engineering, molecular libraries and molecular evolution. She was working as Senior Director of Lead Discovery Biology for Jerini AG, a Germany based pharmaceutical company. During this time she led several programs in ophthalmology, oncology and inflammatory disease in all phases from target selection, up to clinical phase I. Furthermore, she led the technology development of early life science technologies at ipal GmbH, the technology commercialization company for the Berlin Universities.
