Strasbourg hosted the 2025 editions of BioFIT and MedFIT on December 2^nd and 3^rd, reaffirming their position as Europe’s leading partnering events dedicated to early-stage innovation in Life Sciences, MedTech and Digital Health. Bringing together key stakeholders in biotech, medtech, diagnostics and digital health — with a strong spotlight on innovation through the MEDigIT track — the events once again served as major platforms for technology transfer, investment and strategic collaboration.

By convening the entire healthtech value chain — academic researchers, TTOs, start-ups, investors, industrial leaders and healthcare innovators — BioFIT & MedFIT continue to act as powerful catalysts for cross-border partnerships and high-impact collaborations across Europe.

The 2025 editions gathered 1,200 participants from 35 countries, supported by 147 exhibitors and featuring more than 100 international speakers. The strong engagement generated thousands of one-to-one meetings, reinforcing the events’ core mission: accelerating deal-making and fostering concrete business opportunities.

Throughout conferences and roundtables, experts addressed the major transformations reshaping the sector: the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence in healthcare, clinical adoption of digital solutions, the transition toward more personalised and accessible medicine, sustainable medical device design, evolving investment strategies, and European regulatory developments, including the EU AI Act.

These high-level discussions and business interactions generated actionable insights and new strategic synergies, further strengthening Europe’s health innovation ecosystem and its capacity to shape the future of healthcare.

Building on this momentum, the next editions will continue to accelerate impactful collaborations and support the emergence of tomorrow’s health innovations.
