Ingrid Kelly is a Partner at XISTA Science Ventures, an Austrian VC investing in young European startups and academic spinouts harnessing transformative science to address real world problems. She sits on the board of several life sciences startups. Over more than a decade as a technology transfer professional, Ingrid was instrumental in creation of numerous startups from academic settings and is one of the initiators and organizers of xbio, a biomedical entrepreneurship program educating researchers interested in making the transition from academia to the startup environment. Ingrid is a qualified European patent attorney with experience in the pharma industry. She holds a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Cambridge.
