Savita Bernal is Director of the Innovation Acceleration and Entrepreneurship Department at Inserm Transfert. Her mission is to support the creation of start-ups in the life sciences sector and lead strategic initiatives to strengthen the operational and financial consolidation of technology transfer projects, fostering interfaces between research, technology, and applications. Savita has 20 years experience in business development, corporate strategy, and operational management in the biotech sector. She contributed to several licensing agreements and fundraising rounds (Series A, IPO), notably having held the positions of acting Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Modjaw ; Chief Business Officer (CBO) at MaaT Pharma and Director, Business Development and Strategic Marketing at Adocia.

Savita Bernal graduated from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in molecular and cellular biology, holds a PhD in cognitive neuroscience (Université Paris VI/ENS), and a specialized master’s degree in business (HEC).
