Tanya obtained her first degree in Biochemistry at The University of Sheffield, and her PhD from King’s College London. Tanya joined the predecessor of Cancer Research UK’s Commercial Partnerships team (Cancer Research Technology) in 2002 after ~18months at The British Council’s Education and Training Export Promotions Unit. During her time at Cancer Research UK, Tanya has worked with a variety of UK and international partners and gained in-depth experience of a broad set of translational and commercialisation models including licensing, industry-academic alliances and formation of spin-out companies.
